Dr. Rahab Njeri is not your average candidate. She’s an award-nominated anti-racism consultant, a public intellectual, a researcher, and a fierce advocate for decolonial justice. Her academic work, rooted in African feminist thought, diaspora studies, and Black resistance, has shaped policy conversations and institutional change across Germany.
But Rahab is also a community builder someone who doesn’t just theorize about justice, but delivers it. At the University of Cologne, she supports victims of discrimination, trains staff in racism-critical awareness, and actively shapes Cologne’s postcolonial heritage policy. She brings decades of international perspective and local political experience as a candidate who once ran in the 2020 municipal elections and now returns to finish the work she began.
